Funding budget

Funding amounting to € 3,797,000 is available to the LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost for the LEADER programme 2014-2020. Three quarters of this sum, i.e. € 2,847,750 can and should be awarded to project promoters from the eastern Weinviertel. The remaining quarter covers the cost for programme management including monitoring, evaluation and awareness-raising measures.

In addition to the funding, the own funds of the region and the different project sponsors also contribute to the total budget for the LEADER programme Weinviertel Ost. This finance volume will amount to around € 6.25 million over the entire programme period. However, the project promoters will ultimately decide on how much will move to the eastern Weinviertel.
