LEADER 2007-2013

LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost was founded as an association for the programming period 2007-2013. During this period, it was an association of 57 municipalities from the districts of Mistelbach, Gänserndorf and Korneuburg and it had approximately 112,000 inhabitants. During the seven years, LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost received € 13.5 million in funding for 480 projects in the region. Together with the own funds of the project promoters, € 39 million was invested in the eastern Weinviertel region.

 

The starting point for the regional work was a tailored strategy which was developed with citizen participation in 2007. The six fields of action formed the content framework.
