Bus Shuttle Service Weintour Weinviertel - Hohenruppersdorf & Martinsdorf

At Weintour Weinviertel, member companies open their doors on a weekend in spring to taste the new vintage and introduce their wineries. With 20 participating winegrowers in Hohenruppersdorf and Martinsdorf, the Weintour Weinviertel 2019 offered guests a wide range of products.

As an additional offer to increase the number of guests and to make attentive to the total offer in the Weinviertel, a bus shuttle service from Vienna, Wolkersdorf to Hohenruppersdorf and Martinsdorf was offered on the Weintour weekend.

The bus shuttle service included the following timetable:

- Vienna-Leopoldau (subway / train station) - Wolkersdorf (station) - Hohenruppersdorf – Martinsdorf

- Hohenruppersdorf - Martinsdorf - Wolkersdorf (train station) - Wien-Leopoldau (subway / train station)

The rides were offered in both directions 3 times a day.

In order to reach people in and around Vienna, the Bus Shuttle Service was advertised through various measures:

- flyer

- posters

- Advertising at the railway stations in Vienna and the surrounding area

- Advertisements in regional media (NÖN & Bezirksblätter)

The project showed that the shuttle service is well received and should be continued in the future. Based on the experience in the project, the marketing measures are refined and the shuttle service offered is also adapted. An expansion to the entire Weinviertel or all the wine roads of the Weinviertel has already been considered.
