Chill-Out Zone Nature Park Municipality of Niederleis

In Niederleis, a social area analysis revealed that there is a lack of suitable meeting places for young people. As a result, the municipality launched a participation process to design an appropriate space together with the youth. The young people’s wishes were clear: a covered seating area for gathering and chatting. The ideal location was identified as the Kellergasse Niederleis—close to the youth cellar. The new meeting point is intended not only to provide space for interaction and exchange but also to involve young people who have so far been less active in community life.
