Genussrastplatz Staatz

In the Weinviertel there are wonderful places in the cellar lanes. Attractive rest areas with refreshments stops are a must. Through a funding call by the LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost were rest areas in the cellar lanes in the eastern Weinviertel created.

 

In the market town of Staatz, a rest area was built in the cadastral district of Kautendorf in the cellar lane. An old press house was rebuilt and equipped with a vending machines, a Weinviertel flag and an information board about the surrounding area.

 

With the Genussrastplatz was created as a rest stop and meeting place for the local population. The decay of the cellar lanes is being halted, press houses revitalized and the cultural asset of the cellar lane and the quality of life and local identity is increased.
