Women 60+ actively together
A total of 10 workshops will be offered. The project begins with a professionally facilitated participatory workshop in which women aged 60+ identify cultural, social, creative, or other activities they would like to pursue together. The process is designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that all participants can contribute their ideas. Facilitators may provide inspiration through suggestions such as handicraft workshops, storytelling cafés, or regional excursions. The selected activities will then be implemented during regular afternoon meetings in Wolkersdorf. Moderation, materials, and suitable premises will be provided by the project. The aim is to build a sustainable network of women aged 60+ , who continue to meet, support each other and remain active beyond the project period. Unlike traditional courses, the project focuses on self-determination and participation, enabling participants to experience self-efficacy.
The project is non-partisan, non-religious and open to all women aged 60+.
As part of the project, a questionnaire will be developed to assess participant satisfaction. Together with participant numbers, the survey results will serve as indicators for project evaluation. In addition, participants' interest in further or similar formats can be assessed. To ensure the sustainability and continuation of the project, concept development and fundraising activities will be carried out in 2027. Sustainable structures and financing models will be developed to enable the long-term, self-organized continuation of the project's activities.
