Dedicated editors have digitally recorded the history and knowledge of more than 1,700 wayside shrines in our LEADER region in the wayside shrine database www.marterl.at. Wayside shrine brochures and QR code panels have been created, and by scanning the QR code, information about the wayside shrine can be easily and quickly retrieved from the database. This arouses the interest of the younger generation in particular and sensitizes the population to the value of these cultural assets.
